Brantley Gilbert is a man whose artistic abilities came to light at a very young age and he has pushed hard to live his dream. Today, he is widely known as the enigmatic American who is a professional county singer, record producer, and songwriter. His earliest body of works including Halfway To Heaven and Modern Day Prodigal Son were released as a signee of Average Joes Entertainment, a record label owned by Colt Ford. He has since moved on to release three studio projects including; The Devil Don’t Sleep, Just as I Am, and Halfway to Heaven(the deluxe edition). Brantley Gilbert’s Bio
Brantley Keith Gilbert was born in Jefferson, Georgia, United States on the 20th of January 1985. He grew up to love music and deciding that he wanted to write songs and sing for the rest of his life, Brantley moved to Nashville to start off as a songwriter and fortunately for him, Warner Chappel Publishing signed him. After some time, he then moved on to sign a music recording deal with the independent label Average Joes Entertainment in 2009. With the label, his debut album named, Modern Day Prodigal Son, was released in the same year.
Brantley Gilbert left Average Joes Entertainment in 2011 to join one of the divisions of Big Machine Records ‘Valory Music Co.’ Through the label, he re-released his the album Halfway to Heaven. The album was produced by ace producer, Dann Huff, it had new songs as well as bonus tracks. With the album, Brantley Gilbert recorded a milestone in his career as the first set of singles including; You Don’t Know Her Like I Do, and Country Must Be Country Wide made it to the number one spot on the Hot Country Song chart.
Two more singles from the album performed fairly well on a different chart (Country Airplay chart). More Than Miles peaked at number 7 while, Kick It in The Stick peaked at number 34. Brantley’s second album with Valory was released in May 2014, and it was titled, Just As I Am. A good number of songs from this album also performed well. The song Bottoms Up, the lead single off the album peaked at number one, while the second single Small Town Throwdown became his fourth number one hit single in 2015. He has also written songs for established artists like Jason Aldean and Colt Ford.
His Wife – Amber Cochran
Brantley Gilbert has been off the dating scene for a while now as he has been married a couple of times. His first marriage was with someone he called his heartthrob, , an equally famous actress and country music singer who he met at the 2012 CMT Music Award which took place in June 2012. The following year, on the 20th of January 2013, which also happened to be his 28th birthday, he proposed to Jana. Unfortunately, this romance wasn’t meant to last long as the pair soon separated in August 2013 via a divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
Not long after his first divorce, Brantley Gilbert found love again in the arms of Amber Cochran a Georgia school teacher. He revealed during an interview session that Amber inspired him to write some of his most cherished songs(More Than Miles, You Don’t Know Her Like I Do and a few others). Brantley and Amber got married in June 2015 in a quiet ceremony that held in his residence. Sadly, while on their honeymoon, on the 24th of July, Gilbert’s grandfather passed on.

Brantley made a wonderful announcement in 2017 while he was on his The Devil Don’t Sleep tour. He revealed that he and his wife Amber were expecting their first child together. Their son Barrett Hardy-Clay Gilbert was born on the 11th of November 2017.
