It was as Windham Lawrence Rotunda that the wrestler was born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida. It was in Florida that he was raised and as he was brought up alongside his two siblings, the dominant thing in their lives was wrestling. This is as their family was too much into the sports.

For his education, Wyatt who would grow up as a third generation wrestler in his family attended the Hernando High School. While he was there, he was already into amateur wrestling and in 2005 he won a state wrestling championship. Soon after he graduated, he went to the Troy University, where he got a scholarship as a football player. Nevertheless, he later dropped out to fully pursue a career as a professional wrestler.

Professionally, he began as Husky Harris before he later changed his name to Bray Wyatt. Before the transition, he was a member of The Nexus which had people like Wade Barrett and before it was later disbanded. He later went on to found the Wyatt Family which had Erick Rowan and Luke Harper as its original members. Nevertheless, other fighters that later became a part are Daniel Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and Randy Orton.

Through his career as a wrestler, Wyatt became popular for things like his rocking chair, spider walk, and his lamp. He has won a good number of championships including a WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship (with the Wyatt family) and a WWE Championship.

Windham Lawrence Rotunda was born into a family that was very much into wrestling. What makes it even more interesting is that apart from his immediate family, his mother’s side of the family, including his grandfather, were also into the sports.

His father, Mike Rotunda, was a professional wrestler who was in the ring from 1981 to 2007. Mike who began his wrestling by becoming the Heavyweight Champion has won various championships during his time in the ring including an NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship.

Bray Wyatt’s brother, Taylor Michael Rotunda, is also a wrestler who is more popular as Bo Dallas. Just as the whole family finds its way into the wrestling business, so also has Mika Rotunda who is Wyatt’s sister. She is working as a member of the WrestleMania 33 production team after she began as a ring announcer.

Bray Wyatt has been married since 2012 to Samantha Rotunda. The two met and began dating at college when they were both students of the Troy University in Alabama. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Kendyl and Cadyn.

In April 2017, Samantha Rotunda filed for a divorce against her bearded husband claiming that the relationship was irretrievably broken. In her filing for divorce, Samantha accused Bray Wyatt of adultery and misdeeds even as the wrestler denied any wrongdoing.

Nevertheless, Samantha had gone on to claim that Wyatt had had an affair with WWE announcer, JoJo Offerman. Even after the divorce was filed, it circulated that the wrestler was still contacting the announcer who was on her part in a relationship with another wrestler, Jesse White whom she had been dating since 2013.

Following the separation, Samantha Rotunda asked for custody of their kids, their home, child support, and alimony. Alongside the house, she was also awarded $14,735 temporary payment from her ex-husband and a payment of $50,000 to take care of her legal expenses. Nevertheless, they are still locked in more battles as regards the payment of the monthly fee as Bray Wyatt has stuck to paying only $6,000.
