Britt Nicole is an American songwriter and singer with perfectly trained vocals and a powerful message of hope. She is mostly classified as a Christian pop artist but she has produced other works that are mainstream. Britt Nicole Biography
Born in Salisbury, North Carolina on August 2, 1985, Nicole was a talented kid from the get-go. Her full birth name is Brittany Nicole Waddell. Singing began for Nicole at her local church, Truth Temple of Kannapolis, North Carolina when she was just three years old. The church was also her grandfather’s church.
She was a student at South Rowan High School where she joined the school choir and had performances at the Carnegie Hall in New York, a choir which Nicole was a part of. And together with her cousin and brother, Nicole was also involved with their church’s daily program that ran on WAXN. She was also gifted in dance and practiced quite a few styles while being a member of Duke University’s Brightleaf Music Workshop.
When Nicole left high school, she took up a full-time music career. She released her debut album, Follow the Call on January 10, 2003. By the next year, Nicole signed management and development deals with Vertical Entertainment and Word Records respectively. In 2006, she signed with Sparrow Records and her song Indestructible featured on the WOW Next 2007 compilation CD.
She sang during a few festivals and was also featured alongside other artists in separate works. Her first album, Say It was released on May 22, 2007. The album hit No. 40 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart. The song, “You” which was part of the album turned out to be a massive hit. According to R&R Magazine, it was the 12th most played song on Christian Hit Radio stations in 2007. Her first music video was done for the song “Believe”. Also in 2007, she released a Christmas themed EP titled Holiday Trio. It contained the songs “Holiday”, “Come What May” and “Last Christmas”.
In 2009, Nicole dropped a new song “The Lost Get Found” which was part of her second album release. Nicole’s third album was released on December 21, 2011. The album’s lead single was released ahead of the album; the song was titled “All This Time”. On the Christian pop radio charts, the song stood at number 1 for eight weeks and also as number 3 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart.
The next album which was titled Gold was released in March 2012. Gold debuted on the Hot Christian albums chart and the Billboard 200 as No. 1 and No. 41 respectively. Nicole signed to Capitol Records, Gold was released mainstream as a debut single in December 2012. In early January of 2013, the Gold EP was released.

The Remixes, which was Nicole’s first remix album was released in March 2015. A year later in July of 2016, Through Your Eyes, the lead single from her fourth album dropped. The full package as regards the album was released on October 7, 2016. It was titled “Britt Nicole” and its October release came in both deluxe and standard editions.

Britt Nicole is married to Joshua Crosby. The couple tied the knot on July 1, 2012. The couple announced that they were expecting their first child on February 5, 2013. Months later, on July 24, 2013, Nicole gave birth to her first child, a baby girl who they named Ella Brave Crosby. A year later on September 3, 2014, the couple announced their expectation for another child. Adin Jerusalem Crosby was born on February 8, 2015.
