C. J. Beathard Brief Bio

Casey Jarrett Beathard was born in Franklin, Tennessee on the 16th of November 1993. As a young boy, he was educated at Battle Ground Academy where he was part of the school’s football team called the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats. His performance was brilliant in every way as he honed his skill and built his stamina playing football. After graduating from high school, C. J. proceeded to further his higher education and hopefully a collegiate career at the University of Iowa.

While in college, Beathard played a minor role in a five-game appearance for the school’s team, Hawkeyes, however, it was only on the 21st of September that he made his official collegiate debut when his team played against Western Michigan. In the match against the Broncos, Beathard made four rushes for 30 yards and completed a 54- yard. His first career touchdown on a five-yard rush came through for him on the 9th of November 2013 in the match against Purdue.

In his next match against Nebraska, Beathard was able to add another touchdown to his kitty on a four-yard rush. In the fourth quarter after the 21-14 loss, he threw a touchdown pass over to his teammate kevonte Martin-Manley and this was during the Outback Bowl against LSU.

Professional Career

During the 2017 Senior Bowl season, C. J. Beathard received an invitation to meet with the representatives of the Chicago Bears whom he hoped to impress with his skills on the field of play during the week scheduled for the “Senior Bowl.” Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make a great impression after a week-long practice session. Beathard later played for the North Team on the 28th of January 2017, in the game, he was limited by two passes for 4 passing yards as well as a 12-yard rush leading to a loss by the North 15-16 to the Southern team.

Fortunately, Beathard was selected by the San Francisco 49ers, 104th overall in the third round of the NFL draft in 2017. He subsequently signed a rookie contract worth a whopping $3.52 million with an upfront bonus of $706,288. After he was named as the backup to Brian Hoyer by Head coach Kyle Schanahan. He made his professional debut for the regular season on the 15th of October 2017, C. Though they are yet to walk down the aisle, they welcome their first child and son together in 2016. Our fingers are definitely crossed as we hope for a wedding announcement because they sure look good together.
