While his father, David was a biochemist, his mother, (formerly Pamela Noon) was a stay-at-home housewife. He is the last of three children with an elder sister whose name is Sophie Wiles and an elder brother known as Edward Wiles. Calvin is Scottish by birth, belongs to the White ethnicity and attended Dumfries High School. As a child, he was interested in football and music.
