The 31 year old basketball player may have won the rookie of the year award and two Olympic gold medals, but besides all that, he is a family man and that is the wagon we are jumping on today. Its time we met the people closest to him; we are talking Chris Paul’s wife, his kids and his brother.

Chris settled down with Jada Paul (nee Crawley), a girl he met while attending Wake Forest University. The two hit it off immediately and from that instance she became an overnight celebrity. Their relationship lasted eight long years before they moved it to the next level. This was after they had their first son and child, Christopher Emmanuel Paul II, on May 23, 2009.

They shut down their home state of North Carolina, with an extravagant fairy tale style wedding ceremony that was held at Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was big ceremony with about 300 guests in attendance.

Despite her husband’s star status, Jada mostly tries her best to stay out of the spotlight and live a low key life, a huge chunk of information about her personal life remains unknown and she tries her best to keep it that way. This was probably a good choice because there are some weird people out there.

Earlier this year, in March, a crazed fan proved once again that the world is a BAD place, the culprit posted a tweet that read, ‘ @CP# if I knew where you lived I’d probably kill your wife and frame you for it, I watch Dateline I get away with it.’

This was not a matter to be taken lightly and the athlete did not, he contacted the Los Angeles Police Department. The LAPD launched an investigation to track down this threatening troll, but according to TMZ, no arrests have been made.

The Paul’s are not letting this steal their will to live, they are very charitable people. According to Fandom, Chris Paul’s wife recently hosted a dress giveaway in which she paid for the formal gowns of fifty girls who will be attending their senior prom in May.

The young ladies had the opportunity to shop alongside Jada, and select the gown that was right for them.

Though the athlete as two children; a son, Christopher Emmanuel Paul and a daughter, Camryn Alexis Paul, today it’s all about Lil’ Chris, as he is fondly called. He was born two years before his parent’s marriage, so he had the ‘rare’ privilege of being a guest at his parent’s wedding.

His parents are super proud of him and though they try their best to keep him out of the social eye, once in a while we catch a glimpse of the little tyke. When talking about their son, the couple said, ‘ We never knew it was possible to love someone as much as we love each other until you came into our lives.’

As we can all see, he has some of that spicy basketball blood in him, he stole that ball from Kobe Bryant!

Chris is not an only child, this sub heading must have established that already, but we wanted to put it put there anyway. Chris and his older brother, C.J Paul, spent their summers working at a service station owned by their grandfather Nathanial Jones, to whom Paul attributes many life lessons.

Both Chris and C.J, were taught the fundamentals of football and basketball by their father, but it was Chris who later decided to make a career out of it. Oh, yes this is the same brother who made fun of Chris and deemed him too short to become a basketball player, but boys will be boys won’t they?

Fun fact, Chris and C.J were room mates and are even best friends… also do you want to guess who Chris Paul’s manager is? Yup, it’s his brother. ‘ Without him, I’d be stressed out all the time,’ Chris said. ‘Do this, do that, go here, go there. Now, all I worry about is winning the game every single time I step on the court. He takes care of the rest of this stuff.’

Sounds like the perfect balance.

With a net worth of $95 million, you bet the athlete has some nice digs set up for his wife, his adorable kids and himself. Well, he did us proud, buying a $9 million house and it’s not too far from the Kardashians.

The house was built in 2006 and catch this, it has about 10,400 square feet of interiors — more than twice the size of an NBA court. It features, five bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms with a master suite, complete with a sitting room and fireplace.

It also has a state of the art kitchen equipped with a pizza oven and a formal dining room with a wine cellar and tasting room. The Paul residence also boasts of a home theater, a craft room, a library/den and a gym complete with steam shower and sauna.
