There, she learned how to measure ingredients, mix the batter, bake in the oven and design her cakes and other things. She also watched a lot of episodes of the top-rated cooking show America’s Test Kitchen; this show not only taught her how to cook but also about different types of kitchen equipments and their reviews.

Her unique designs

Christine decided to decorate her parent’s home for the Halloween celebration in 2015. She made gigantic creepy eyes and Dracula-like fangs from foam blocks and painted and arranged them to produce a one of a kind haunted home theme for the Halloween.

She then took pictures of herself in front of the home and posted it on her Instagram page. It went viral and caught the attention of more than 300 television production companies who wanted to create a reality show about her life and creations. She shared the process of creating this design on her Instagram handle.

Christine McConnell’s show has some unique characters in it and they were created by the Henson Alternatives, an arm of the famous Jim Henson Company. Their artistic genius brought those creatures to life and gave the show a different dimension.

Christine designed most of the set of her show herself. She designed the spider-web themed cupboards on Photoshop and other backgrounds of the set as well. Her designs were then brought to life by very experienced set builders and it is a sight to marvel at
