Dale Midkiff was born on the 1st of July 1959, in Chance, Maryland. Dale attended Edgewood high school Maryland. His first taste of acting came at a local children’s theater where he played Jack in a Jack and the Beanstalk production.
As a student in High School, his acting skills were never in doubt; he performed in school theater and stage productions earning awards along the way. After High School in 1977, Dale proceeded to Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland where he studied Communication Arts with a specialization in English and Philosophy.
After College, Dale moved to New York in pursuit of his dreams to become an actor. While he sought acting opportunities, he had to resort to working as a waiter at a local bar to pick up his basic bills.
The first acting job he got was to play the role of John Ross “Jock” in Ewing in Dallas: The Early Days. After that impressive showing, he landed a role to play as Elvis Presley in the four-hour mini-series Elvis and Me. That followed Dream Street, a series set in New Jersey.
Dale was eager to show that his skill set was not just suited for movie roles when he stared in the television production, “Plymouth’’ as Gil Eaton. Though the series was not adopted by ABC, Midkiff was slowly making a name for himself. He also featured in Toothless, a Disney movie production in which he portrayed Thomas Jameson and acted alongside with Kristie Alley.
