The aim was to talk about Danielle’s unruly disposition and crimes. While they were filming the episode, she stole a car belonging to one of the crew members.

Of course, the audience got a good laugh at her expense, but this did not sit well with Danielle. It was her response to this provocation that became her vehicle to fame. She had shot back at them with the one-liner “Cash me outside how bout dat”. It wasn’t as much what she said as it was how she said it that made the statement go viral. Her statement was made into an internet meme, earning her the name the “‘Cash Me Outside’ Girl”.

Five months on, she was on the show for the second time, except there was no studio audience this time, owing to the happenings of at her previous appearance. Outside the TV show, the catchphrase had inspired a song put together by DJ Suede The Remix God, from different clips. The song made it onto Billboard Hot 100, Streaming Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. The song then inspired many dance videos on YouTube.

Danielle ventured into music with her first single These Heaux released in August 2017. It got to number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100. This was a double accomplishment for her because it also meant she was the youngest female rapper to debut on the chart. Following this single, Atlantic Records came calling with a multi-album . Danielle goes by the stage name “Bhad Bhabie”.

She has released numerous singles under the record like Hi Bich and Mama Don’t Worry (Still Ain’t Dirty). She has featured artists like YBN Nahmir and Rich the Kid. She also worked with on his music video for Everything 1k. She reportedly received about $40,000 for her troubles.

It would appear that this new-found fame brought the rapper and her mom closer. Bregolli and her mom (Barbara Ann Bregoli) were on the same page for the most part. They accused and sued three companies for infringing on Danielle’s intellectual property rights. The companies in question had made use of her famous catchphrase without her knowledge or permission. She also almost had a legal squabble with Walmart; they had printed the phrase on their t-shirts.

In 2017, Danielle’s catchphrase got her a nomination in the Trending category at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Bregoli had also spent some time at a facility for troubled teens in Utah following her outburst at the Dr.Phil show. The closeness between her and her mom became evident again when she and her mom were banned from Spirit Airlines for life. She had punched a passenger on a flight for commenting on the fact that her mom was taking too long to put her stuff in the overhead cabinet. All three passengers were banned for getting into a brawl.

Her twin sister has been gaining popularity on social media. Danielle has not confirmed if she is actually her twin sister but the media have been speculating based on the fact that the 2 look very much alike.
