Dennis Rodman attended South Oak Cliff High School located in the Oak Cliff neighbourhood of Dallas, Texas. During the 1986 NBA draft, Dennis Rodman was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round as the 27th overall pick. After 2 more seasons with the Detroit Pistons, Rodman was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in October 1993.

After the 1994-95 season, he was traded by the Spurs to the Chicago Bulls. Rodman, alongside , was part of the iconic Bulls’ team which won 72 out of 82 in the 1995-96 season.
