The month was lovely February; the day was 16^th, 2 days after St. Valentine’s Day while the year was 1995 when the birth of baby Denzel Rae Don Curry occurred in Carol City Florida. His parents are of Bahamian and Native American descent and so is he. Not much information is known publicly about who his parents, this is quite common among artists who came to fame in the new millennium. However, we know that after some time in Florida, they moved over to Miami where he did much of his growing up and attended school. He has a brother named Treon Johnson, he is not known to have any sister.

This gave him more recognition from well-established artists like American rapper Earl Sweatshirt and others. His third mixtape titled Strictly for My R.V.I.D.X.R.S. was released in honour of Trayvon Martin his high school colleague.

By this time, things were going very well for Denzel in his music career as even the splitting of the Raider Klan could not slow down talk more of stopping the pace at which his musical career was growing. He went solo and by September 3, 2013, he released his first full-length album which he worked on while still in school– Nostalgic 64. The album featured artists like Mike G, Nell, JK the Reaper, Lil Ugly Mane etc. From Nostalgic 64 to present day, Denzel has been releasing hit songs like Imperial, his first double EP, titled 32 Zel/Planet Shrooms and so many demo’s for his widely expected third album.
