Doug Davidson Biography (Age)

The Hollywood television star, who is professionally known as Doug Davidson, was actually born Douglas Donald Davidson. He received the name from his parents after his birth in Glendale, California, on the 24th day of October 1954.

Though information about the American actor’s family history, early life, parents, and siblings are missing in the picture, he is believed to have had a pleasant childhood as well as supportive parents who played influential roles towards his rise to stardom.

Doug attended the Los Angeles, California-based Liberal arts college, Occidental College, where he studied marine biology. It was during this period that he developed a penchant for sea creatures, water, and diving, but, however, still went ahead to have an acting career.

The daytime screen star started his career by playing the role of Collin in the 1977 drama film, Fraternity Row. His next role was as Tommy in the 1978 television movie, The Initiation of Sarah. Doug eventually had his breakthrough in the same year when he bagged the role of the fictional character Paul in the soap opera, The Young and the Restless.

Other television projects Doug Davidson has been part of include Next Week’s Game, Dreaming of Joseph Lees, L.A Johns, I’ll Take Manhattan and Mr. Write.

In addition to his acting, Doug has also served as a host on several shows. In 1994, he landed a hosting gig on the game show, The New Price Is Right. He eventually left the show in 1995 after it was canceled. The Emmy Award-winning actor also served as the host of the annual Tournament of Roses Parade from 1998 to 2003.

Since then, Fisher, a talented television, film, and stage actress, has been an amazing wife to Doug and a caring mother to their children. She was born in the year 1960 in the United States, however, the birth month and day is not known.
