Dr Jamie Naughright’s Bio

Jamie Naughright was born to American parents in Hackettstown, New Jersey in 1971. Her father James Naughright worked with the Long Valley Fire Department for forty-three years; he also owns and served as a butcher at a Long Valley general store. There isn’t much information regarding her childhood life. She possesses an American nationality and is of white ethnic descent.

At the completion of her basic education, Jamie Naughright enrolled at the University of Tennessee where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in physiology and minor in football coaching in 1993. She also got her master’s degree in health education and promotion as well as a doctorate degree in health education and wellness from the same university.

Naughright began her career as a student trainer while she was studying for her master’s degree; she worked for the women’s athletic teams and was a graduate assistant for the men’s football team. She was later promoted to the position of Director of Health and Wellness for the men’s athletic team in 1996. Naughright worked under the former University of Tennessee’s Athletic Director Mike Rollo and left the job in 1997.

Family

Like we aforementioned, Naughright was born to James Naughright and his wife. There is no much information about her mother and siblings because Jamie has not disclosed such information to the media. Since she has not shared such info, it will be hard to tell if she is the only child of her parents or not.

Naughright got hitched in 1996 and later changed her name to Jamie Whited. Although nothing much is known about who her husband was, we are able to gather that she was married for nine years before they went their separate ways. The couple didn’t have any kids from the marriage.

If you are wondering what relationship Dr Jamie Naughright has with the American football superstar. Well, the answer isn’t farfetched. It’s undeniable that is one of the greatest cornerbacks in the NFL history. He was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana in the United States of America and he played professionally for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos teams of the National Football League. During his seventeen years of professional career, Manning was a two-time super bowler and a one-time Super Bowl MVP. He won NFL championship MVP for five times, was named to the Pro Bowl for fourteen times and also a three-time recipient of the Bert Bell Award.

Prior to his NFL career, Manning played college football with the University of Tennessee Volunteers. While he was there, Dr Jamie Naughright was working as the athletic trainer of the University at the time. In February 1996, Naughright filed a sexual allegation charge against Peyton Manning and subsequently, against Manning and his father Archie Manning. She alleged that the former NFL quarterback maneuvered his naked rectum and testicles over her head while she was examining him for a possible injury in 1996.

However, Naughright left the University in 1997 after the settlement; she was paid the sum of $300 thousand by Tennessee University. Surprisingly, that wasn’t the first time she brought up such allegation. She has previously reported 33 sexual assault claims against Tennessee trainers and coaches as well as athletes during the ‘90s. After the case died off, Naughright also filed a lawsuit against Donna Karan in 2010 alleging that she had encountered a spine injury during a physical therapy in the designer’s bedroom.
