New York Times best-selling author, Grant Cardone, has not only built a name for himself in the world of print media but has also built a business brand with his name in several other spheres like real estate.

Cardone has authored five books, he is an international sales expert, business guru, a motivational speaker, and host of a radio show – The Cardone Zone. In addition to all these, Grant has founded three companies: the Cardone Group, Cardone Enterprises, and Cardone Real Estate Holdings.

Bio

Grant Cardone was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on the 21st day of March 1958. He is one of five children born to his parents – Curtis Louis and Concetta Neil Cardone. His father died in February 1968, just a month to Grant’s 10th birthday and his mother died in 2009.

He attended La Grange High School, Lake Charles, and McNeese State University, where he bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. In 2010, he was honored with the McNeese State University Distinguished Alumnus Award. The award is given to the institution’s outstanding graduates.

His Rise…

After graduation, Grant moved to Chicago, where he began his career working for a sales training company. The nature of the job made him travel all around the state. At some point, he went back to Lake Charles, then to Houston, Texas, where he pitched his tent for some time before moving over to La Jolla, California, where he lived for 12 years.

Before finally moving his offices from California to Miami Beach in 2012, he had also lived in Los Angeles.

Grant Cardone, after working in the sales training company for many years, moved into car sales and soon became the CEO of Freedom Motorsports Group Inc. In 2010, Grant began working with a media company Atlas Media Corp. and together they came up with a reality TV series called Turnaround King for the National Geographic Channel, aimed at educating business people on how to grow their businesses.

Cardone owns and operates several companies like the Cardone Group, Cardone Enterprises, and Cardone Real Estate Holdings. Today, his Training Technologies company provide companies, small and growing businesses as well as entrepreneurs, an interactive sales training platform.

He holds a real estate portfolio in the United States with an estimated worth of over $566 million. Unlike many successful real estate moguls who built their real estate portfolios as a full-time career, for Grant, it was a side business he built to channel and grow the earnings he was making from his sales consulting company.

His real estate holdings are scattered over the State, they are in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Grant is also the author of five books – The 10X Rule; Sell or Be Sold, The Closers Survival Guide, If You’re Not First, You’re Last; and Sell to Survive.

The business mogul contributes regularly on Fox & Friends, he has also been on The Wall Street Journal, appeared on CNBC, CNN, and in over 700 radio shows across the country.

In 2016, he was named by Forbes as one of the 25 Marketing Influencers to Watch out for in 2017. His net worth as at 2018, is an estimated $350 million.

Cardone is happily married to Spanish born actress Elena Lyons. The couple tied the knots in July 2004 and have remained together ever since, without rumors of divorce or any form of scandals.

They are blessed with two adorable daughters – Scarlett and Sabrina Cardone. Cardone has a twin brother by the name Gary.

Gary like his brother is into business and is also a go-getter. Gary Cardone who is now the CEO and Co-Founder of a comprehensive Risk Management company, Chargebacks911, which focuses on Card Not Present (CNP) merchants, once revealed in an interview that he started off selling bananas and learned from that experience that he could sell any other thing.
