Y’all probably wondering this is about some basketball dude who plays for an NBA team. Nah! Its all gist and talk about Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Perhaps, you’ve listened to one of his songs – “Outside Today.” Yah! That’s the one. For some reason, he prefers to be called “YoungBoy Never Broke Again.” That’s kind of a long and ridiculous nickname, so let’s just stick to NBA Youngboy.

While music is the first thing that has attracted fame to him, he has come to be known for his growing list of kids from different women. Even before he was 20, he had already recorded 4 different kids from 4 different women. Of course, no one would pretend anyone in his shoe would manage to evade unending drama, most especially as it pertains to baby mamas. Here’s a look at how things have been with him.

NBA Youngboy and His Baby Mama’s Intrigues

Born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on 20 October 1999, Youngboy’s childhood wasn’t an idle one as his mother didn’t do much in terms of raising him. Also, his father was hardly in the picture – the man was behind bars serving a 55-year sentence. The law caught up with him when Youngboy was only 8. Thus, the rapper was raised by his maternal grandmother until she died from heart failure. So it was clear that it was the streets that mostly raised him, and he got exposed to a lot of things early, including girls.

In 2014, he released his first mixtape “Life Before Fame,” and so, fame caught up with him. Two years down the line, he became a father for the first time in 2016 when his then-girlfriend, Nisha gave birth to his first child, Kayden Gaulden (Draco). Nisha simply slipped away from the scene, leaving not so much information about her or any serious drama.

The dramatic events began with Starr Thigpen, his next baby mama, who gave birth to Kamron Gaulden, popularly known as Baby K in the same year. As it would later turn out, the kid was not his, as DNA would later confirm. Nonetheless, he still takes Baby K as his and indicated he would keep supporting both child and mother.

In February 2018, NBA Youngboy and Starr got arrested after allegedly attacking a hotel maid who among other housekeeping, came to clean the room, which was supposed to be unoccupied at the time.

Another name was added to his list of Baby mamas, Niya. The two had an affair that led to the birth of his third child, Taylin Gaulden, who is more popular as Tay Tay. According to rumors, the two did not date as it was only from a nightstand that they had the child. When she told him she was pregnant, he was said to have accepted it but insisted on a paternity test, which showed he was indeed the father of the baby.

He also dated Jania Jackson for sometime before they parted ways when she was still pregnant for him. Early in 2019, she became his baby mama with the birth of his child, Kaycey. After parting ways, the rapper claimed that he got herpes from Jania, who came out to defend herself on social media, claiming she did not give anyone anything.

A Look at NBA Youngboy’s Children

Apart from Baby K, who as it turned out is not the biological son of the singer, Youngboy has 4 biological children. As already indicated, his first child is Kayden Gaulden, born on July 4, 2016. Draco is followed by Taylin Gaulden, who was born on March 19, 2017, then came Kamiri Gaulden, who was birthed to him by Starr Dejanee on July 6, 2017. The youngest of the kids is Kaycey Alexander Gaulden, who was born on February 13, 2019.

His Musical Career and Fortune

It is known that this chap got his musical talent from his mom, who was once a rapper. Youngboy began writing songs and singing when he was much younger. He dropped out of high school in his 9th grade to focus on music and soon, he started producing music when he was 14.

After his aforementioned first mixtape in 2014, he also released “Mind of a Menace” mixtapes 1, 2 & 3 tailed behind. The next year, NBA Youngboy fell out with fellow rapper Scotty Cain. In December of that year, he decided to translate his anger into lyrics. He released a rap beef song, which got a response through another rap beef song from his rival. As expected, this rap battle got so much attention and interestingly became NBA’s first date with fame.

His musical career began to take shape but then, he had a scratch with the law in November 2016 and had to be behind bars for a while. While this slowed him down, there was no stopping him. He released three more songs while in there; “Win or Lose,” “Don’t Matter,” and “Too Much.” A week after he got out, he released yet another “Untouchable.” Youngboy dropped his first album “Until Death Call My Name” on 27th Apri, 2018.

The music star isn’t outrageously rich, but he boasts of a net worth of over $4.5 million. He made this much within a short while from his songs and YouTube channels. At this rate, Youngboy will probably never go broke again.
