Jacelyn Reeves was born on December 21, 1951, in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A to parents of mixed ancestry which is traceable to English, Welsh, German, Irish, Scottish and Dutch, but her nationality is American. Her early life was spent in Washington DC but not much information is available about her education but she is known to have only one career pursuit which was to be a flight attendant which was the job she did until her retirement.

The Affair With Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood is a very familiar name in the Hollywood film industry as he is a talented actor and director who eventually also became a businessman and politician. A young and beautiful Jacelyn Reeves met Eastwood on board a flight and although he was still married to his first wife Maggie Eastwood at the time, he started a secret affair with the young flight attendant. The said affair was first reported in 1990 by Star publications and prompted a chain of reactions including one from Sondra Locke who felt cheated because Clint was living with her at the time he began dating Reeves. Locke went a step further when she mentioned their relationship in her autobiography titled ”The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly” which was published in 1997.

While no specific reason was given for Reeves and Clint’s refusal to tie the knot before their relationship ended in 1990, it is believed the split had to do with Clint’s political ambitions at that time because he was the Mayor of Carmel, California. Also, although he was separated from his first wife, he had not legally divorced her.

She Went Off the Radar After The Affair

When the affair between Reeves and Eastwood came to an end, he disassociated himself from her on all social media platforms. As a result of the backlash that followed, she went off the radar and stayed off social media. News, however, came to light that she secretly got married to someone named Private Bell but no information is available about their union. More reports eventually came forth that she is still single.

Jacelyn Reeves Has Two Children With Eastwood

Clint’s affair with Reeves produced a son named Scott Eastwood whom they welcomed in 1986 and a daughter named Katheryn Ann Eastwood who was born in 1988. Scott Eastwood followed in his father’s footsteps to become an actor and he made his film debut in Flags of our Fathers released in 2006, a movie that was directed by his dad. The young actor also has major credits in other films like The Longest Ride in 2015 and Snowden in 2016.

Reeves, daughter Katheryn is also an award-winning actress who is known for her performances in movies like Jersey Boy, House Slave (2014), Virus (2015) and Thick Water (2016). She worked on a special project in 2018 which is a zombie scary movie title Virus of the Dead. Asides from acting, this talented daughter of the ex-flight attendant is also a scriptwriter.

Interestingly, the former flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves revealed that she wrote ”Father Declined” on her children’s birth certificate when she broke up with Clint Eastwood. She has been a strong supporter of their individual careers and although she is not a fan of red carpets events and the showbiz world, she often attends functions with her children.

Her Mother’s Battle with Alzheimer’s Disease

After the initial furor regarding her affair with Eastwood, Jacelyn took a low profile and understandably most of the media attention waned. In 2018, her son revealed that she has been struggling with taking care of his grandma who was battling Alzheimer’s disease. Apparently, all of Jacelyn’s time is devoted to ensuring her mother who hardly remembers her is comfortable.

Jacelyn Speaks Multiple Languages

This is probably one of the least known things about her, Jacelyn Reeves speaks multiple languages. Among the much counted, she speaks Irish, Spanish, Frisian, Welsh, and Dutch. This apparently made her job as an air hostess, the knowledge of multiple languages enabled her to deal better with passengers.
