Before his journey into fashion began, James Jebbia tested waters in the movie industry appearing in a few movies and shows. He played the character of Tommy Watson in the series, Grange Hill and also starred in a few other projects. Jebbia made a significant move in business in the early 90s when he worked at a skate and clothing store, Parachute, located in SoHo, Manhattan. He then partnered with streetwear retailer, Shawn Stüssy for three years before finally making the decision to have his own establishment.
