Jaime Little was born on April 9, 1978, in South Lake Tahoe, California. She is the second child of her parents Thomas Little (father) and Laura Thomas (mother). Her father was a former cruise ship chef while her mother was an interior decorator.

Although her siblings’ names are not revealed, we know she has an older sister and two younger brothers. While she was still very little, her parents got divorced and as a result of that, Jaime and her siblings then had to move to Nevada with their mother.

Little attended Greenspun Junior High School, in Nevada. She then attended Green Valley High School, in Nevada.

Her love for sports started back in her high school days. In high school, Jamie participated in various sports including basketball and wrestling. She was a member of her high school lacrosse team.

After graduating from high school, she went on to attend San Diego University. At the university, Little majored in sports journalism and obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2001.

Career

Jaime Little started her career working as a journalist with ABC in 1996. She started working at ABC as an intern. After she was through with her internship program, the TV network hired her. Little began working as a field reporter and later, went on to work as a news anchor.

She resigned from ABC in 1998, and in the same year, she was hired by the popular sports network ESPN where she worked as a sideline reporter at first. While with ESPN, Little covered both the Winter and Summer X Games for ESPN. She covered different sports tournaments like hockey and football.

The talented sports reporter started covering motorsports in 2007 and since then, she has built up a great reputation as a pit reporter. She covered Indy Racing League from 2007 to 2008.

In addition, she also covered other racing events including Indianapolis 500, Firestone 550, and NASCAR. She later spent some time away from reporting but returned in January 2010 to cover the Snowmobile Motocross Winter X Games.

On September 25, 2014, Jamie announced that she was leaving ESPN and moving to Fox Sports, where she now serves as a NASCAR pit reporter.

In January 2015, she started working for Fox Sports, covering the Monster Energy Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Camping World Truck Series.

Little has featured in a couple of movies, her most recognizable film role was in the 2004 film Fantastic Four, where she starred as an X-Games Reporter. She also made an appearance in the 2014 film At the Top of the Pyramid.

The sports journalist is the co-author of Essential Car Care for Women, a book that was written to give women fundamental knowledge of how to maintain cars. She co-wrote the book alongside Danielle McCormick.
