As far as motor racing is concerned, Joey Logano is to most people, one of the best things that have happened since sliced bread. That’s how the professional stock car racing driver got his sobriquet – Sliced Bread.

Born as Joseph Thomas Logano on 24th May 1990 in Middletown, Connecticut, U.S; Joey’s NASCAR journey started when he was only six years of age, competing in Quarter Midgets. He rose through the Quarter Midget ranks and became a Bandolero racer in 1999. From here, he moved on to Legends car racing and soon got involved with Late Models, working the wheels with Southern All-Star and Georgia Asphalt Series.

The genesis of his adventure with NASCAR came in 2005 when Joe Gibbs Racing signed him as a development driver. Today, this dude holds a number of records which has justified his nickname. Apart from being the youngest winner of a Nationwide Series race, his triumph at 2009’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (Foxwoods Resort Casino 301) made him the youngest driver to have won the tournament in Cup Series history.

Being the youngest winner in two of NASCAR’s top three divisions, Joey has earned himself assorted trophies and prestigious accolades. Here are the things to know about his wife Brittany Baca, the fight he had with  and his physical attributes.

Joey Logano Wife (Brittany Baca)

If you must tell tales about Mr. Sliced Bread’s love life, you wouldn’t have to wonder why it’s as though it’s difficult for most celebrated athletes and other superstars to have romantic and sexual relationships that are not complicated. Most of these guys are romantically linked to several partners, sometimes, a handful of them in one go. But this hasn’t been the case with Joey Logano. The American stock car racing driver’s heart beats for Brittany Baca as long as anyone could remember.

From what we’ve been able to gather, Logano and Baca have had a thing for each other right from the early days of their life. But then, there are other reports which have suggested that they first met as young adults at a staking rink in Charlotte owned by Baca’s sister.

While it is yet to be substantiated when the two became lovers, it is a common knowledge that they decided to become life partners in November 2013, this was when the NASCAR driver informed the world about his engagement to Brittany via Twitter, disclosing that they would be having their wedding the next year in December. It happened as Joey said it would, he officially became lady Baca’s husband on the 13th day of December in 2014.

His wife would later that she picked the sequential wedding date (12/13/14) so that it would be easy for Joey to always remember their anniversary and, that the racing driver made their engagement a memorable one for her. In Baca’s own words, “it was a sweet moment” she’ll never forget. Joey took his time to wrap lights around trees in the woods where he parked Baca’s dream car, a mint green Ford Thunderbird.

As Brittany has a great fondness for traveling, the couple spent their time honeymooning in Costa Rica. Their affection for each other has been steady and has endeared them to their first child, a son they named Hudson Joseph Logano; he was born on the 5th of January in 2018.

Why He Fought with Kyle Busch

Joey Logano has definitely had a good deal of several issues to deal with ever since he kicked off his racing career and, his scuffle with Kyle Busch who also competes in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series was only one of them.

The 2017 Kobalt 400 altercation between both American racing drivers happened at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. During the final lap of the Monster Energy Cup race, Busch was avoiding another car and thus, encountered Joey as they all strove to finish among the top-five. The collide made Bush veer off to the pit road which saw him finish the race at the 22nd position, far behind Joey who finished 4th.

Infuriated Kyle approached Joey after the race and threw a punch. Even though Joey would later disclose that the punch didn’t get to him, it didn’t stop him and his crew from engaging Kyle, they subdued the outnumbered man to the ground and left him with a scratched face, dripping blood.

While Kyle lamented that he was “flat-out dumped” by Joey, stressing that he intentionally wrecked him, Joey has insisted that it wasn’t deliberate. , Busch was going to pin him down at the corner and he was only avoiding being spun out. It was thought that NASCAR would penalize one or both of the racing drivers for the incident, but this didn’t happen.

Joey Logano’s Height

In motorsport, there is a popular sentiment which suggests that the height and even weight of a racing driver do determine performance. It is believed that beyond having a perfect control of the wheels, a driver shouldn’t be too tall or weigh too much as it can upset the aerodynamic performance and balance of a car.

Joey’s career hasn’t been hampered by his physical attributes in any way, he has the perfect height and weight for his profession. The man is ‎6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) tall and weighs 82 kg (180 lb).
