Hollywood funnyman, Jonah Hill, has been able to stay at the top of the comedy business for over a decade, starting from his early roles in movies like Superbad (2007) and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) to the Jump Street movie series where he stars alongside . Biography

Hill was born Jonah Hill Feldstein, the middle child of three to Sharon Lyn (née Chalkin) and Richard Feldstein, on the 20th of December, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. His parents who are originally from New York found work in Hollywood and decided to raise their kids there. They lived in the affluent Cheviot Hills neighboorhood as Hill attended Brentwood School. He later transferred to the Crossroads School before graduating in 2002.

For his college education, Jonah Hill moved to New York where he first attended Bard College before joining The New School and then the University of Colorado at Boulder. During this time, Hill began writing his own plays which he, at times got to perform. His big break, however, came through his friendship with the children of multiple Golden Globe and Academy Awards winner, Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman’s children introduced Hill to their father who was impressed with his talent and encouraged him to audition for a role in the comedy I Heart Huckabees (2004) where Hill made his film debut and the rest became history.

Jonah Hill has a history of gaining and losing weight. In 2011, he reportedly shed over 40 pounds in order to land the role of Peter Brand opposite in Moneyball. He did so by working with a trainer and adjusting his diet. But in 2015, Hill appeared to have regained a huge amount of weight which was said to be for his role in War Dogs (2016). After filming the movie, Hill went back to the gym and began losing it all over again.
