The American professional baller was born in Los Angeles on January 7, 1995. Details about his family background are yet to be made public but his physical endowments give him away as a black American. Also, the identities of his parents and siblings are not known yet. For his education, he schooled at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California before moving on to college at the University of Oregon where he continued to play basketball and during his stint with the Oregon Ducks, Bell recorded college career milestones.

He started his freshman year in a redshirt position at Oregon and eventually, he averaged 5.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. He set a school record for a whole season with his 94 blocks and continued as a redshirt sophomore. The second season saw Bell averaging 7.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. In his capacity as a junior in 2017, the baller took the second-team all-conference honors in the Pac-12 after being named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year. He also averaged 10.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as a redshirt junior. He equally aided in leading his team to the Final Four during the NCAA Tournament in 2017 which was the same year he joined the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the second round of the draft.

Ever since he joined the NBA in 2017, Jordan Bell has been with the Golden State Warriors to date. He declared for the big league on April 18, 2017, and was selected with the 38th pick by the Chicago Bulls. Notwithstanding, he would soon be traded for $3.5 million in cash considerations to the Golden State Warriors, a move that guaranteed his first championship in his first season.

After joining the big boys, Bell took part in the 2017 NBA Summer League. Later in the season, October 23, 2017, to be precise, he became the subject of an online debate after achieving a slam dunk and bouncing the ball off the backboard to himself during a 133–103 rout over the Dallas Mavericks. This didn’t go down well with the Mavericks’ players and the coaches. The play also sparked a heated debate across social media platforms.

Later that month, he upgraded his career-high score to 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting to go with his career-high 10 rebounds in 25 minutes in a game against the Lakers.

Enroute his first big trophy, Bell came off from the bench on April 14, 2018, to play his first game in NBA playoffs. He had three points and two rebounds in a 113–92 blow-out win over the San Antonio Spurs. His team qualified for a showdown at the 2018 NBA Finals and further crushed the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games.
