Jordan Philip Bratman was born on the 4th of June, 1977, to Jack and Gail Bratman in South Bronx, New York City. Jordan and his only brother, Josh Bratman, grew up in a family where being artistic is the order of the day. His love for music comes from his father, Jack Bratman, a renowned music producer and just like every son’s dream, Jordan grew up in the artistic field, wanting to be like his father.
Jordan started learning music at an early age and successfully kickstarted his career at the age of 16. He took his career a step further by interning at several music studios in New York.
On the educational front, he received his primary education at Ethical Culture Fieldston School, New York City, and later bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. He would later clinch his PhD at the same university. Before his doctorate, he worked as a talent scout and music producer in Louisiana.
Over the course of his career, he has worked with multiple musical icons such as , Boys II Men, , TLC and . He is known to have a heightened knowledge of music and has a mind-blowing capability to see and recognize talent; this caught the attention of Grammy award-winning record producer, Dallas Austin, who made him the head of the A&R department of DARP Music in 1999. DARP became highly successful as a company under Jordan’s leadership.
Jordan Bratman later got a job at UMG Soundtracks in Los Angeles, California which gave him the opportunity to assemble the soundtracks of films such as Bad Boys II (2003) and Honey (2003). He also produced the album for NHL Rivals 2004: Xbox (2003). In recent years, he has had collaborations with Azoff Music Management.

Jordan Bratman met Christina Aguilera, an American multi-Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, actress and television personality, in 2002. The two then began dating in 2003 until he later proposed in February 2005.
On the 19th of November, 2005, they took the walk down the aisle and tied the knot in an estate in Napa County, California. The couple had their son, Max Liron Bratman, on the 12th of January, 2008. Sadly, after five years of marriage, Bratman and Aguilera separated in September 2010, after which Aguilera filed for divorce in October. After both parties came to a custody agreement and private settlement, their divorce was finalized on the 15th of April, 2011.
Since the divorce, there has been no record or mention of Jordan being in a relationship as his focus right now is his son and his career.
