Just like his famous father, Justin has proven to have that star power even in his early days as a kid. The lad was born in Mount Vernon, New York, on the 30th of December 1993. He happens to be the first son of his father, Sean Diddy Combs, and mother, Misa Hylton-Brim. Though he is the only one born to his mother, Justin has five other siblings from his father’s relations with other women. The second son of his father is Christian Casey Combs, born in 1998 to mother, Kim Porter. The third child and daughter, Chance Combs was born in 2006 to mother Sarah Chapman. The twin girls of the family named, D’Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs, were both born on the 21st of December 2006 to mother, Kim Porter. Justin Combs also has one brother, adopted by his father. His name is Quincy and he is the son of Kim Porter and music producer and singer, Al B.

1. High School Football And Achievements 

Justin Combs is a young man who managed to break most stereotypes associated with rich kids, especially a black kid that has a famous musician as a father. It wouldn’t have been a surprise if he was always partying and living the life of a rock star, however, he is trying to make a name for himself as well as make his family proud. When he was in high school at Iona Prep, the Mount Vernon, New York Chap, played the quarterback and defensive back position on the school’s team. By the time he was a senior, he was made a starting quarterback and subsequently named an All-State and All-American. He was also named as the number seven (7) prospect in New York as well as a three-star recruit by ESPN.com.

2. Controversy Regarding His UCLA Scholarship

In 2012, the media was agog with the news that Justin Combs had received a Football scholarship worth a whopping $54,000 to study and play football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Considering he is from a very rich family and the scholarship would have been better off for a less-privileged kid, eyebrows were raised. The university promptly released a statement explaining that what was given to Justin was an athletic scholarship, not a need-based scholarship. The athletics scholarships are awarded to recipients based on their academic performances as well as their talents as athletes. The university further stated that this scholarship is very similar to that awarded to basketball players which are not dependent on funding from the state, instead, funds are generated solely from UCLA Athletics ticket sales, private donations from supporters, media contracts and corporate partnerships.

3. Father’s Altercation With The Assistant Coach

In June 2015, news of Justin’s father’s arrest was trending. It was revealed that P Diddy was nabbed after a confrontation he had with Justin’s coach, Sal Alosi, who he claimed was yelling and screaming at his son during practice while he watched on the sidelines. After the practice, Diddy followed the coach to his office with the belief that he probably had an issue with his son. He claimed he tried to talk reasonably with the coach but the coach made him wait while he was speaking on the phone. This, therefore, made Diddy grab a kettlebell made of cast iron – normally used for weight-lifting and exercises, and swung it at the coach. Luckily for Sal Alosi, it narrowly missed him and there were no serious injuries sustained by both parties. Diddy, however, was then held at the campus police before being transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center. The case has since been resolved on mutual grounds.

 

4. Games Played As A Reserve & Special Teamer

For the UCLA football team, the Bruins, Justin Combs has played a total of seven games as a defensive quarterback. This was all done during the 2013-2014 season, either playing as a reserve on defense or on special teams. In the process, he also recorded a total of four solid career tackles.

5. Acting And Reality TV Stints

He appeared as an actor in the 2013 movie, “Date With a Hammer”, a feature which happened to be his first major acting opportunity. Notwithstanding, he is not new to the cameras because, in the year 2008, his birthday got covered on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16.”
