She Is Not Close To Her In-Laws

While Justine Karain’s parents are very close to her and her husband, often accompanying him on tour, Reed’s parents are estranged from the couple, as they were not even invited to the wedding.

According to reports, the feud came about after Reed’s parents objected to their son marrying Karain who is four years older than him. They reportedly felt that the couple and their son, in particular, were at the time too young to become legally bound. Another report further says that the dislike of Karain by Reed’s parents comes from her social media posts about them mentally and physically abusing the golfer. She reportedly said that they only viewed him as their “meal ticket”.

Her Brother Took Over as Caddie for her Husband

As mentioned earlier, Justine Karain stopped working as her husband’s caddie after she became pregnant. The position vacated by the former high school athlete was then filled by her brother Kessler Karain who had no experience in the role. Kessler reportedly left his job in medical sales to take on the role which he enjoyed and learned more about along the way. He has since overseen his brother-in-law’s first major win at the 2018 Masters Tournament where Reed had the chance to become the first player in the history of the tournament to post four rounds in the 60s, but however, managed a score of 71.
