Born Kayla Danette Kisor in Etowah County of Alabama in the United States, Kayla first came into this world on the 26th day of April 1961. She came from a strong political background and is the daughter of Mack A. Kisor and his wife, Dell McDonald Kisor. She spent her early years in Gadsden neighborhood of Etowah where she attended Southside High School. At the time, she was classmates with Beverly Young.

During her teenage years, Kayla competed in beauty pageants including Miss Alabama USA, Miss Alabama World, and Miss Alabama US Teen. Although she didn’t win any of these contests, the young and charming Kayla finished as a runner up in the Miss Alabama US Teen beauty contest. For her college career, she first enrolled at the University of Alabama and later finished from Jacksonville University with a bachelor’s degree.

While we have come to know Kayla Moore as the doting wife of the American politician, Roy Moore, she has also had a successful career of her own. Soon after she graduated from college, Kayla kicked off her career, working as a model. However, she later ventured into business and in 2009, she founded a company called K.D.M. Marketing Company. Having been successful in her business ventures, Kayla Moore in collaboration with her husband, Roy, founded a non-profit organization called Foundation for Moral Law in 2013. Since its establishment, Kayla has been serving as the President of the socially conservative legal group to date.

More so, Kayla has equally done a great job in the American political arena. She contested for the position of the secretary of the Alabama Republican Party in 2013. Unfortunately, she ended up losing to Lynn Robinson. She has supported other big names in American politics including . The height of her participation was seen in 2017, during her husband’s senatorial race, when she vehemently defended her husband against allegations of sexual abuse from four different women. Like we aforementioned, Kayla Moore is happily married to an American politician and the former judge of Alabama Supreme Court, Roy Stewart Moore. Roy was born on the 11th February 1947 in Gadsden City of Alabama. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in 1969 and was discharged in 1974 with his designation as a captain. Afterward, he enrolled at the University Of Alabama School Of Law where he acquired a Jurist Doctorate in 1977.

Kayla Moore’s hubby has held several offices in the United States; he first worked as an assistant district attorney. He was later appointed Chief Justice of Alabama’s Supreme Court in 2001 but was abruptly removed two years later following a face-off with a federal court. Kayla’s husband further ran for the Senatorial post in a bid to replace the outgoing in 2017. However, he was defeated by a Democrat Doug Jones.

Kayla and Roy first met each other while performing at a dance recital during their teenage years in the mid-80s. The couple felt a connection at first but nothing happened between them until they met the second time at a Christmas party in 1984. Unfortunately for Roy, Kayla was married at the time, but he was not deterred at all. When Kayla started facing issues in her marriage, she went on to file for a divorce from her then-husband. Their divorce was finalized in 1985 and in the same year, she walked down the aisle with Roy.

Their wedding was held on 14 December 1985 and was graced by their friends and family members. The amazing couple has been together for over three decades and counting.
