The Californian native began his NASCAR career in the year 1995 when he entered the Mesa Marin Raceway in the Craftsman Truck Series where he finished 27th with the No.72 family car. With each season, Kevin Harvick improved on his personal best timing getting more confident to compete in even higher races.

He competed in the Winston Cup Series for the first time in 2001 and became the “2001 Nascar Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year” and also won the Nascar Busch Series Championship same year and repeated the feat in 2006.

Family – Wife, Daughter

Everything about Kevin Harvick has been about racing, little wonder his wife is also associated with the sports. He met his partner – DeLana (Linville) Harvick – in the year 2000 at Michigan International Speedway where she worked as a public relations personnel for another driver called Randy LaJoie. She also comes from the family of a racer as her father is a former NASCAR Xfinity Series (formerly Busch Series) driver John Paul Linville. Delana also at some point, tried her hands out on driving but it didn’t go beyond a plaything.

Kevin and Delana Harvick tied the knot on the 28th of February 2001 in Las Vegas Nevada at the same time he made his Sprint Cup Series debut. What a way to start a union. The family has since then been blessed with the birth of two lovely children. A son named Keelan, who was born on July 8, 2012, and the younger, a daughter named Piper Harvick born on December 28th, 2017.

Delana participates actively in the motor racing sports with her husband’s team. She also co-owns and manages the KHI Management LLC a Sports Management Agency, in addition to making frequent appearances on the Harvick’s pit box during Sprint Cup races.

The love between them has never for once grown cold, or at least, not that we have heard. The couple still lives together and there are no signs of an impending breakup between them.
