Landon Liboiron – Bio & Age

The Canadian actor was born and named Landon Ryan Liboiron on the 10th day of March in the year 1991 in Jenner, Alberta, Canada to Lorraine Mack and Marcel Liboiron. He is of White ethnicity, has a mixed ancestry of French-Canadian from his father and is half Polish from his mother. Landon’s mom who is an artist is of part German and part Swiss-German descent. She is also the mother of Blake and Lance Liboiron who are siblings to Ryan.

Growing up, Landon Liboiron spent his early life in the small farming community of Alberta with his two brothers where they got involved in farm work. When he was not farming, his mother Lorraine would drive for 14 hours to take him to Vancouver where he could attend acting classes as well as audition for film roles. Throughout the whole process of making this tedious journey to and fro, Landon’s father and his brothers just like his mom were very supportive of the aspiring star in their family.

The Liboiron’s didn’t have to wait too long before this dream began to materialize. In 2007 when Landon was about 16 years old, he was cast in Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness as the character Brody Murakami. In this same year, he recorded acting credits in a television series – The Virgin of Akron, Ohio and two other films titled Don’t Cry Now and the American comedy-drama film Moondance Alexander which also starred Kay Panabaker, Don Johnson, and a couple of others.

The Canadian actor then expanded his acting portfolio in 2008 with roles in films like Menace (as Brian Ranfield), Passchendaele (a young German soldier), Run Rabbit Run (as a skate park kid) before landing the character of Simon Strachan in episode: “He Knows His Brother” of Flashpoint. Landon Liboiron began 2009 as Jude in 6 episodes of the television series Wild Roses prior to his landing a big regular role as Declan Coyne in Degrassi: The Next Generation which ran from 2009-2010. Degrassi: The Next Generation; a Canadian teen drama television series is one of Landon’s best-known roles till date.

Degrassi, however, was not his only recorded acting credit in 2010. Landon played as Bruce Parker in Altitude, Paul in Daydream Nation where he was the best friend of Reece Thompson (Thurston Goldberg).
