His Background and Education

Jeremy was born on January 22, 1992, in Rockford, Illinois. There, he attended Rock Valley College between the years 2010 and 2011 before he moved over to the University of Kentucky after he won a scholarship. As an undergraduate student of the institution, Jeremy was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and even served as the group’s president at one time. He also put his entrepreneurial skills to work as he established a school charity event known as the University Idol. He eventually graduated in 2014 with a degree in Business Management.

While at the University of Kentucky, Jeremy became a member of the school’s a cappella group known as the Acoustikats. The group was established in the year 1993 by Dr. Jefferson Johnson, UK’s Director of Choral Activities, during his first semester at the University of Kentucky School of Music in the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts. Set up as a subsection of the institution’s men’s chorus, the group was the very first a capella ensemble in the state of Kentucky made up of only males.

In 2013, the ten-man group appeared on national TV following its selection to compete in season 4 of NBC’s “The Sing-Off”. Jeremy was their soloist in the competition which eventually ended with the group taking the 5th place alongside another group. As a result of their success at the competition, the Acoustikats were formed a professional vocal band.

What Does He Do Besides Singing?

Even though he has always been interested in entertainment, singing precisely, Lewis has successfully married his love for music with a flourishing career in the business sector. In 2013, his company, Platobrand, went into operation and in addition to being the owner of the firm, he was also in charge of business development, according to his Linkedin profile. Platobrand stayed afloat until 2017. In May 2017, Jeremy started working as the manager of Stem Disintermedia Inc. and remained there until May 2019 when he moved over to Tagboard, occupying the position of sales director.

So far, Jeremy has received two awards. The first was the Bryan Clark outstanding executive officer award, which given to him in April 2013 by the University of Kentucky dean of students/executive inter-fraternal council. The council issued him the award in recognition of his amazing leadership qualities and advocacy excellence as an executive officer of any student organization. Jeremy received the second award in May 2011 as the best Rock Valley college essay and creative writer of the 2011/12 academic session.

As earlier stated, Jeremy became popular following his relationship with Kirstin Maldonado. and as a result, nothing is known about his relationships before he got involved with her.  For context, Kirstin Maldonado is an American singer-songwriter and a member of famous the a cappella group known as the Pentatonix. Born with the middle name, Taylor, on the 16th of May 1992 in Fort Worth, Texas, the beautiful lady alongside her three-time Grammy Award-winning singing group, has carved a niche for themselves in the music industry having released seven albums and selling more than six millions copies of their albums.

Jeremy and Kirstin are believed to have met for the first time in August 2013 and later started dating but kept it cool until Kirstin confirmed that they were dating early the following year. On the 29th of May 2016, Jeremy proposed to his girlfriend while they were on a trip to Paris and she said yes. Afterward, Lewis shared their engagement photo with an amazing caption which gave us an insight into their relationship.

Sadly, just when everyone was expecting a wedding, the couple’s love story came to an abrupt end as they called off their relationship and engagement in October of 2017 without giving any for their decision.
