On the 15th of November 1992, Madison McKinley Isner was born to parents; Karla and Mark McKinley in Dallas, Texas where she was also raised alongside her two brothers; Charlie McKinley and Key McKinley. Madison had a knack for creating pieces and from a young age, she looked forward to being part of the fashion industry.

Upon graduating from high school, Madison attended Parsons School of Design from where she graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. In 2009, while still in school, she started Madkool LLC and began serving as her company’s designer, a role she held from inception to 2016.

In a bid to further her academics, Madison McKinley Isner attended the University of Texas in Austin from where she earned a Bachelor of Fine/Studio Arts in 2016. Following her education, she decided to spend some time with her family. For a period of 9 months, Madison lived on her parents’ ranch – Steerhead Ranch in Buffalo, Wyoming. While there, she among many things spent about 10 hours each day horseriding while rounding up her family’s cattle. She was a full-time cowboy on the ranch and enjoyed every bit of it.

Since then, Madison has continued to frequent the ranch spending most summers there. The Steerhead Ranch which borders the Big Horn Mountain range and the Big Horn National Forest is owned by McKinley’s grandparents who bought it in the 80s. The ranch houses a variety of wildlife where they freely roam without disturbance from poachers.

In addition to starting her first company, Madison McKinley Isner in August 2013 worked as an intern for the New York City-based Jaya Apparel Group. Her job role included aiding with product photo shoots, scheduling marketing appointments as well as maintaining the showroom. For a period of 10 months, she also worked for KOCH in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area as the Accessories Designer.

Madison’s biggest and most successful venture is her self-named jewelry company, Madison McKinley’s Jewelry Company, which she started in 2017 alongside her mother. The Dallas-based company’s aim is to create timeless handmade pieces that are unique yet functional. Madison’s inspiration for the brand was birthed from her admiration of the pieces she created from the fusion of her modern jewelry pieces with her grandmother’s vintage types.

The brand which includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings are made in Texas, Dallas and Buffalo, Wyoming. The ones made in Buffalo are on her family’s Steerhead Ranch and the line is actually named after the ranch. Madison McKinley Isner sells her pieces online with prices ranging from $100 to a few thousand dollars.
