Maria Sharapova’s first relationship known to the public dates back to 2005 when she was reported to have had a short fling with Maroon 5 frontman, . The duo is said to have got together after the singer performed at the 18th birthday bash of the tennis star. However, the relationship didn’t last beyond a few dates and almost ended as soon as it began.

Charlie Ebersol

Russian-born Maria Sharapova also had a brief relationship with American TV producer and director, Charlie Ebersol. In addition to his own flourishing career, Ebersol is well-known as the son of veteran TV producer and top NBC executive, Dick Ebersol. It remains unclear when their relationship officially took off, however, the couple was seen together in public on several occasions. The duo eventually parted ways before the end of 2008.

Sasha Vujačić
