In 2006, she was employed by the ABC news network. It’s however important to note that it wasn’t always a bed of roses for Bruce, in fact, at the beginning of her career with ABC, it was the farthest thing from that. At first, she was given the position of desk assistant for the news channel – a job which sounds a little demeaning. Despite that, she did her job with all diligence and dedication. For 2 years, she worked as a desk assistant for the network before her input was finally noticed.

In 2008, she was promoted to the production segment of the news. Shortly after that, she began to make serious impacts, getting hugely involved in the coverage of the 2008 presidential debate and its candidates for the show – This Week with George Stephanopoulos. In 2009, she became a digital journalist for ABC News which led to her being stationed in the White House.

Since 2009, she has been on the rise, with her going on to cover series of events and reports: ranging from covering the re-election campaign of former U.S President Barack Obama to the flow of illegal migrants into Europe, the iconic visit of Pope Francis to the White House, even down to the supposed Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election. Currently, she is a well-recognized congressional correspondent for the ABC network in the White House

Husband, Is Mary Bruce Married?

This ABC congressional correspondent seems to be making headway in every area of her life. She appears to be in total control of the wheel of her life, steering to only one direction – success. Mary Bruce is not just a married woman, but a happy one. She is currently married to Duane Moore who is a native of Alaska and an investment banker by occupation. The couple first met in 2010 under circumstances that are very much unknown to the media but according to Bruce, it wasn’t love at first sight. However, she revealed there was a little bit of likeness at first which was well nursed and later blossomed into a romantic relationship. The duo dated for two years before Moore got on his knees and popped the – would you marry me big question in 2013.

On the 12th of September 2015, they made it official by tying the knot in a private wedding ceremony attended only by members of their families and very close relations. On the 24th of June 2018, their union became even more blessed with the birth of their first and only child. Despite their busy work schedule, the couple still manages to spend as much time as possible together with their little boy.
