Melissa is a general attorney and currently works at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University school of foreign service back in 1990. In 2007, she obtained her master’s degree in Law with distinction in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University Law Center.

Melissa Hodgman was born to Ann McIntyre and Brian W. Hodgman. Her parents are late now. Her mother, Ann McIntyre used to be a writer and a humanist. Ann McIntyre died at the age of 67 in the year 2010, as stated in her obituary. Melissa Hodgman has siblings as well. She has a sister named Laura and a brother named Christopher.

She is married to Peter Strzok and they have three kids together. The couple first met back in their days in college. They both attended Georgetown University and it was there that they started dating. After they both graduated from college, they took the decision to settle down together. They tied the knot in 1994 and continued to live together ever since then. The couple, with their three kids, reside in their home in Virginia – a house they bought for $520,000 in the early summer of 2013.

As stated before, Melissa Hodgman is married to Peter Strzok. He is an American although his family originated from Poland. Peter was born on March 7, 1970, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. His birth name is Peter Paul Strzok II and he was born to Virginia Sue Harris and Peter Paul Strzok. He graduated from St. John’s Preparator School in Minnesota, in 1987 before going on to attend Georgetown University, where he met his wife and graduated in 1991.

The former FBI agent also obtained his master’s degree from the same university in 2013. Before joining the FBI, he first served his country by joining the U.S. Army. He left the Army in 1996 and joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as an intelligence research specialist. He was however fired from his job as an FBI agent in August 2018.

While still with the FBI, Peter Strzok cheated on Melissa Hodgman with his former work colleague, Lisa Page. It was brought to light when text messages between the pair were leaked. Lisa Page was an FBI counsel; she resigned from her job in May 2018 as the heat of her affair with Peter became too much to contain.
