As a result, the young Miles lived a nomadic life during his formative years. Miles’ mom, Merry Teller, earned a living as an estate agent.

Miles received his high school education at Lecanto High School where he mastered the drums and the saxophone. Subsequently, he started drumming for his local youth group’s church band. Miles is also a competent guitarist and pianist.
