Nancy Juvonen was born on the 18th day of May 1969 in the North Coast, California, United States, and she attended the University of Southern California where she graduated with a degree in sociology and cooperative education. Her career as a producer began some years after she graduated from the University and worked as a flight attendant and as an artist in various private firms before she landed her first breakthrough job as an assistant to Clarence Clemons, a member of the E Street Band.

Nan, as she is often called, made her break to the limelight in 1999 when she found her way into Hollywood and debuted as an executive producer of the CGI animated Christmas television special, Olive, the other Reindeer and Never Been Kissed, a romantic comedy film directed by Raja Gosnell. The success of these two films helped in her rise to fame. Her interest in storytelling moved her to partner with Drew Barrymore in the establishment of a production company called the Lower Films.  Barrymore is an actress, director, model, producer and a member of the Barrymore family of American stage and film actors. She is the granddaughter of a popular stage actor in the 90s, John Barrymore.

Nancy met Barrymore during the production of the romantic drama film, Mad Love and thanks to Nancy’s brother Jim who introduced them to each other, they were able to quickly developed a bond that resulted in the establishment of the production company in 1996. Their first film, Never Been Kissed which was produced in 1999 catapulted them to fame and further opened the way for more productions.

Nancy Juvonen is married to comedian and host of The Tonight Show, . The couple got married on December 22, 2007, and has since been living together as husband and wife.

The couple first met in 2005 during the set production of the romantic comedy film, Fever Pitch. She was introduced to Jim by her friend and co-producer who was at that time working with him in the production of the Fever Pitch film. In 2007, they officially started dating, after Barrymore invited Jim to a birthday party she threw for Nancy and a few months later, Jim engaged Nancy with a Neil Lane designed engagement ring in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. The engagement was witnessed by a number of Nancy’s family members. Four months later, they were already married and in 2013, they had their first child, a girl who they named Winnie Rose.

The birth of Winnie came after much trial by the couple to conceive, Nancy is seven years older than her husband who was born on September 19, 1974. The couple spent five years of their marriage trying to conceive but as all effort proved abortive, they settled for Gestational Surrogacy, also called Gestational Carrier, a process an embryo created by In Vitro Fertilization Technology is implanted in a surrogate. Their second daughter Frances Cole was born in the same manner in 2014.
