Noah Jupe Biography

Noah was born Noah Casford Jupe on the 25th of February 2005 in Islington, London. It is safe to say that his family background played a vital role in his foray into the arts as his parents have a rich history in the movie industry.

His father is the British producer and filmmaker, Chris Jupe, while his mother is actress Katy Cavanagh who is most popular for her role as Julie Carp in the soap opera, Coronation Street, which ran from 2008 to 2015.

The young Noah Jupe attended Cheadle Hulme School Cheshire (near Manchester), where he played field hockey for Alderley Edge hockey club and participated in relay swimming competitions for his school team.

Movies and TV Shows

His career actively took off in 2015 when he made a guest appearance on the British series Penny Dreadful. He followed that up with a brief cameo in Downton Abbey – a British historical drama that was set in the early 20th century. Noah appeared in Season Six. His next role was as Daniel Roper in The Night Manager, which was shot in 2016. The same year, he appeared in the series Houdini & Doyle as Kingsley Conan Doyle.

Having started out with mostly TV shows, he landed his first major movie role in 2017 as Ata Moravec in The Man with the Iron Heart, which was a World War II drama based on Laurent Binet’s novel, HHhH. The movie narrates Operation Anthropoid, an operation that led to the assassination of Nazi leader Reinhard Heydrich. Noah worked alongside popular faces such as .

He also featured in Good Night, as Ronaldo alongside John Hurt and . Noah Jupe starred as Nicky in the black comedy film Suburbicon. It was on this project that his dexterity and acting proficiency came to the fore; during a press conference at the Toronto International Film Festival, the director of the movie George Clooney eulogized Noah saying he was astonished at his competence at such a young age.

In 2018, he starred in the American horror movie, A Quiet Place, after George Clooney recommended him to the movie Director, . The same year, he worked alongside and Tom Wilkinson in the Sci-Fi film, The Titan. 

You will find Noah Jupe in other works like the short film My Pretty Pony (2017) where he played Clive Banning, Holmes and Watson (2018) where he played the role of Doxy, and the movie Wonder (2017) wherein he was cast as Jack Will.

Noah Jupe’s Family

Noah Jupe is the oldest child of his parents and has two younger siblings. He has a sister named Jemma Jupe (born in 2007) and a brother known as Jacobi Jupe (born in July 2013). His dad is Chris Jupe and his mother’s name is Katy Cavanagh. The family resides in Manchester, England.
