Prince Harry is a grandson of the reigning Monarch of Britain, Queen Elizabeth II. Born to the heir apparent, Charles Prince of Wales, Harry is currently sixth in line to the throne of England.

Biography

Harry was born in London on the 15 September 1984 to Lady Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales. Harry and his older brother Prince William attended independent schools as kids. Harry was enrolled at Ludgrove School and from their proceeded to Eton College.

As a child, it didn’t take too long for the world to notice he was the more unassuming, adventurous and often mischievous of the two princes. His adventures and misdemeanors would go on to characterize his early teenage life.

His parents divorced in 1996 and the following year, his mother died in an auto crash in France. Obviously rattled and grieving, Harry would turn to more unorthodox modes of venting out his pent-up grief.

Growing up, the paparazzi were never far away, it was no secret that Harry’s lifestyle and disposition made him a more susceptible target for the press hound than his more conservative brother William.

It was easy to spot him at local pubs, clubs, having the odd drink and trying to live like every other teenager his age. Problem was, he was no ordinary teenager, he was elite Royalty. Among other skirmishes, he was caught smoking marijuana in the summer of 2001, the negative press he was generating became a cause for concern to the Royal family and after discussions with his father, he was taken on a tour of a South London Drug Rehabilitation Center to witness first-hand the negative effects of Drug Abuse.

In a bid to help the young prince regain focus and perspective, he moved to Lesotho during his gap year in 2004. Out in the Southern African country, Harry worked with children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, using his influence to raise funds and awareness.

Upon his return to the United Kingdom, Harry opted not to attend the University, preferring to pursue Military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. On the 8th of May 2005, he joined the Army. After two years in service, Harry was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was soon scheduled to be dispatched to the war front alongside this unit.

After initial concerns about his safety, Harry was finally sent to Afghanistan where he spent two months. Between 2009 and 2012, the Prince trained to become a combat helicopter pilot in the Army, a training that earned him another shot at a military duty in the war in Afghanistan. In 2015, after ten active years in the military Prince Harry ended his military assignment to concentrate on his other interests.

Prince Harry has also had an adventurous love life. He has had flings and relationships with pop stars, models, actresses, and socialites. He first dated Chelsy Davy, daughter of a Zimbabwean billionaire whom he met during his time in Southern Africa. The relationship lasted on and off for seven years, in between which the Prince had other brief relationships.

During one of his “breaks” from dating Chelsy, he had a fling with singer Natalie Imbruglia in 2009. Later the same year, Harry hooked up with TV host Caroline Flack, the romance lasted only a few weeks.

In 2010, it was singer Camilla Romestrand, that had the charming Prince’s attention, but not for long, Harry was back with Chelsy again but finally broke up with her for good in 2011.
