Quinton Aaron was born in The Bronx, in New York City on August 15, 1984. After his elementary school, his family moved to Augusta, Georgia, where he continued his education. He is an African-American actor who had always had the desire to be an entertainer. He was involved in several Christmas plays while growing up, and was also a mute singer in the choir.

Before pursuing a career in acting, he had worked as a security guard. His acting career started in 2006, where he made appearances for little roles; his popularity began to grow when he played the role of Q in a 2008 comedy film Be Kind Rekindled. He also appeared in some episodes of season seven of Law and Order.

His career got to a peak when he was chosen to play the role of Michael Oher, the lead actor in the 2009 sports movie The Blind Side, which he acted alongside some famous faces in the industry such as and Tim McGraw. This movie was such a hit and gained wide acceptance in the industry. It was a turning point for his career, as his role in the film did not just fetch him fame but also nominations for some awards, and also opened doors for him for other major roles.

In 2010, he made an appearance in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. He also starred in several other films and series such as; One Tree Hill, Harry’s Law, Mothers and Daughter, Its Not My Fault and I Don’t Care Anyway, and so many others. 2016 and 2017 was such a busy year for the actor as he had lots of work that he was involved in, and he did an awesome work in all.

Apart from acting, he is also a great humanitarian who founded The Quinton Aaron Foundation, the sole aim of this foundation was to help, encourage and reach out to children who have and are being bullied, and they have been able to reach out to over three hundred children so far. According to Aaron, he had a tough life while growing up and knew what it was like to be bullied, and he wants to help children that have gone through that, and help them have a voice.
