Not too long ago, the name would often draw that of Rebecca Griffin (now Rebecca Liddicoat) into the conversation but all that has changed as the former parted ways with the later in a divorce. However, while they were together, the pair were an ideal couple but behind what the public could see, a lot wasn’t going well in the marriage as Rebecca came to disclose that her husband was cheating on her with another woman.

Rebecca Liddicoat – Bio

Rebecca Liddicoat was born on the 13th day of August in the year 1988 in Boulder, Colorado to Laura Liddicoat and Edward Liddicoat. She has an older sister named Lindsey Liddicoat with whom she was raised. Some reports have it that she attended the same high school (Copperas Cove High School in Texas) with Griffin but what we are certain about is that the duo attended the same college which is Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Liddicoat studied Biology there and upon her graduation in 2010, she earned a degree in the discipline. While in college, she was the president of CHI’s Service Club.

From the timeline of the events of her life, Rebecca Liddicoat is not known to have worked after college, this because everything about her during college and afterwards circulated around Griffin. Perhaps, following their divorce, she might be pursuing a career in line with her Biology degree or probably making do with a job to at least pay her bills. We do not posit this until she makes a revelation about what she is up to at the moment.

Parents, Husband, Daughter

Rebecca Liddicoat was born to Edward Liddicoat and Laura Liddicoat as stated above. Not much is known about her parents except for their names and where they lived when they gave birth to their children. They are however grandparents now as Rebecca had a daughter with Griffin.

Robert Griffin III and Rebecca Liddicoat first met while at Baylor University after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend. Upon their meeting, the attraction between them wasn’t mutually instantaneous as Liddicoat was quick to pick out what seemed odd about Griffin while on the other hand, Griffin, who was coming out of a relationship was casual with the whole thing. Rebecca, being nervous at the time, asked why RG3 was wearing girls socks? He still wears them till today.

Well, what seemed like a not so stunning first meeting in 2009 gradually grew into a relationship that was formalized in 2010 with an engagement while they were still students at Baylor. Griffin proposed to her on October 23, 2010, after he scored 4 touchdowns and passed 404 yards against rivals, Kansas State. He got his ring from his father and accompanied by his teammate who would play the guitar, he sang a love song for his woman kneeling on one knee and asking her the question that marks the beginning of many marriages.

Griffin and Liddicoat got married on the 26th of July in the year 2013 at Denver Four Seasons in Denver, Colorado. Their wedding was attended by Griffin’s National Football League teammates Santana Moss, DeAngelo Hall, Kirk Cousins, London Fletcher, and Pierre Garcon. Baylor’s head coach Art Briles was also in attendance as well as Redskins owner Daniel Snyder. On May 21, 2015, Rebecca Liddicoat gave birth to their first and only child, a baby girl named Reese Ann Griffin.

Divorce

Though it seemed on the outside that all was well with the couple, the reverse actually seemed to be the case as their marriage was quickly heading for divorce the following year after their daughter was born. They separated on August 16, 2016, and by the following month – on September 7, 2016, Robbert Griffin filed for divorce, stating that their estranged relationship will never mend. Obviously, another woman was already in his life.

That other woman is Estonian heptathlete Grete Sadeiko. Griffin engaged her on the 13th of May 2017 making their relationship official. Grete gave birth to Griffin’s second child and their first together on the 2nd of July 2017, a baby girl named Gloria Griffin. The following year, on March 10, 2018, they were married.

The last that was heard of Rebecca Liddicoat has it that she has been in a legal battle with her now ex-husband Robbert Griffin. The two were said to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement prior to their marriage, but since after their divorce, it is reported that Griffin hasn’t kept to his own end of the bargain. Liddicoat reportedly lives on an expense of $36, 000 monthly being for her daughter’s upkeep and the maintenance of two houses in Texas and Virginia. She is also entitled to a 50% share of their Texas mansion in Montgomery which is now worth $3 million.
