To cap off his high school career, he recorded a team-leading 18.2 scoring average per game in his junior season, a performance which earned him first-team All-ACC honors.

Pro Career

Reggie Jackson entered the 2011 NBA Draft where he was picked in the first round by the Oklahoma City Thunder as the 24th overall selection. The talented player, however, got limited playing time in his rather uneventful rookie year as he was the No. 3 point guard on the Oklahoma City Thunder depth chart for the 2011-12 season. His performance improved steadily in the seasons that followed as he earned more playing time.

The 2013-14 regular season was Jackson’s most productive season with the Thunders as he averaged 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and a career-high 1.1 steals per game in 80 total appearances. Though he maintained his top form for the team into the 2014-15 season, Jackson was traded mid-season to the Detroit Pistons in February 2015.

In 27 total appearances with the Pistons for the 2014-15 regular season, the NBA star averaged 17.6 points and career-highs of 4.7 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game. Jackson’s impressive run with the Pistons got derailed by an injury incurred at the start of the 2016-17 season which had him sidelined for the first 21 games of the season. He returned to action for the team on December 4, 2016, and he finished the season with 14.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in 42 total appearances.
