Ryan Matthew Serhant was born in Houston, Texas on July 2, 1984. He was raised by his parents in Topsfield, Massachusetts where he attended Pingree School. Later on, he went to Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado while spending summer with his family.
Ryan also enrolled at Hamilton College where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Theatre. While he was at the university, he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and after his graduation; he relocated to New York City where he started his acting career.
Career
After his graduation from Hamilton University, he went to New York where he kicked off his acting career. Ryan featured in the soap opera titled As the World Turns in 2007 where he played the role of Evan Walsh. Following the advice he got from his friend, Ryan ventured into real estate in 2008. He approached Nest Seekers International, one of New York’s largest real estate brokerage firms where he was later offered a position.
However, based on his unparalleled work ethics in the real estate industry, Ryan was promoted to the Executive Vice President as well as a Managing Director of Nest Seekers International. He achieved a massive success in his first five years as a real estate broker, recording up to one billion sales in real estate.
Furthermore, he extended his career to television, becoming a star of the real estate television series titled Million Dollar Listing New York, an international TV programme. The show was nominated for the Emmy Awards two consecutive times and Ryan Serhant also founded the No. 1 New York City, The Serhant Team. Currently, he is star and producer of the 2018 show titled Sell It Like Serhant.
