Dave, also known as Santan Dave or Dave Santan was born Born 5 June 1998 in Streatham, South London. Although there is no much information about his family, one could deduce from his spat in his “Blackbox Cypher” in 2015, that he has two older brothers who currently serve long terms in Prison and that he lives with his mother.

Dave began rapping at the age of sixteen but during his childhood, his older brothers who were involved in animation, inspired him to pursue his interest in arts but after much trial, he gave up and moved to music instead, starting up as an MC.

When it comes to Santan’s education, he studied philosophy, ethics law and music in college but concurrently made his debut in the music world on the same day when he started college. This introduced him to over a million new fans. Making best use of this credit, Dave has remained faithful in keeping people engaged on his videos even after they listen to the Wanna Know Remix.

All through 2017, Dave left no stone unturned in making sure his fans remained thrilled with the release of non-album singles like Samantha with J Hus, Revenge, 100M’s and Tequila. The rapper has also announced that he is going on a tour. His latest project, Game Over was released in early November 2017 and it features seven songs including the title song and No Words, with the latter being a collaboration with Mostack.

Dave currently has no girlfriend and has not shared any information about his love life left for his new song How I Met My Ex, a seven minutes song where he spits about how his relationship with his ex began and ended. The song which ultimately tells a heartbreaking confessional story about a failed relationship also serves as yet another showcase of Dave’s talent. Since its release on November 3, 2017, the song which was backed by a sparse piano instrumental has racked up over 50,000 page views.
