Shawn Elizabeth Killinger (Shawn Killinger) is an American journalist who was born on the 2nd of November 1979 in Detroit, Michigan. When she was about 11 years old, her family moved to Mexico due to her father’s job, their stay in Mexico lasted for 4 years during which time Shawn attended the International American School Foundation situated in Colonia Las Americas, Álvaro Obregón, Mexico City.

After her graduation, the would-be TV presenter enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania in State College and subsequently graduated with a degree in Marketing. During her time in college, Killinger was known to have traveled to Geneva, Switzerland to work with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Following her graduation from college, Shawn moved to New York City where she secured a job with CBS on Page Program. The next two years, she began working as a set assistant with Dan Rather on CBS Evening News, followed by working on Late Show with David Letterman where she helped with the seating arrangement of the audience in the show before becoming the Assistant Producer on the CBS news program Foreign Desk.

Shawn Killinger then went on to advance her career working with WUHF-TV a FOX affiliate as a general assignment reporter, co-anchor for Morning News on CBS Channel 6 WRGB-TV which is a CBS Station in Albany’s Capital Region and Orlando before she began working as a television reporter for QVC where she is still working till now.

Being a versed television presenter and one who has little or no use of the much-needed Autocue, teleprompter or prompter, Shawn Killinger sure commands a good price in the industry. In addition to this, she has worked with a couple of media houses with an impeccable record of television presenting. These notwithstanding, her net worth remains unknown but would certainly be running into millions.

Family – Husband and Kids

Shawn Elizabeth Killinger is married to Joe Caretta who works as a professional consultant and a businessman. The two reportedly met each other on a dating site before they took things a lot more serious with their offline dating which subsequently led up to their marriage.

The couple doesn’t have any biological child or children of their own but Joe has two children (both boys) from his previous marriage. Shawn suffered a harrowing 5 months miscarriage of a baby girl in 2014 at which time her absence on television piqued public interest. However, she took to Facebook to dissuade the rumors trailing her absence, she disclosed that she had a miscarriage and has since then made a full recovery from the tragic loss.

In June 2017, Shawn Killinger and her husband Joe adopted a baby girl who they named Jagger Jude. Together, the family of five are having a good time together with no rumors hovering over the media personality mom, her consultant cum business tycoon husband or their kids whose lives have been shut off from the media for probably good reasons.

Where is She Now?

The whereabouts of the presenter was first questioned when she became scarce on television, however, this was as a result of the miscarriage of her 5 months old pregnancy. She made a come back to her job thereafter only to disappear again but this time for good reasons.

Following the adoption of baby Jagger Jude in 2017, Shawn Killinger took time off her busy television job to tender care to her bundle of joy. Being a new mom, the experience was as tough as it could be for her but all was in love and admiration of the little angel she is raising alongside her two stepsons.

Shawn still works with QVC and is expected to come back fully to her job as her tot comes of age.
