Skeet Ulrich whose birth name is Bryan Ray Trout was born on the 20th of January 1970 in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. He was brought up by his mother alongside his older brother, Geoff Trout. His mother, Carolyn Elaine Wax, manages her own business – a marketing agency called Sports Management Group. She also comes from the well-known Rudd family; the president of Al Rudd Auto Parts, Alvin Ray Rudd Sr is her dad while her brother Ricky Rudd was a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver.

The entertainer gained his last name ‘Ulrich’ from D. K. Ulrich, a NASCAR driver and team owner whom his mum married after the end of her marriage to Skeet’s dad. Though D. K. Ulrich is the actor’s stepfather, Skeet considers him as his father. His mother has since gone on to a third marriage with Edward Lewis Wax.

The famed actor gained his nickname ‘Skeet’ from his Little League coach who likened his small stature to Skeeter. Skeet’s small frame may have been as a result of the ill health he suffered during his formative years. He constantly went through bouts of Pneumonia and at the age of 10, the young actor had to go through an open-heart surgery as a result of a defective ventricle.

According to the artist, his biological dad abducted both him and his older brother when he just turned six and kept them for three years. They spent a while in Florida before moving to New York and then to Pennsylvania. Eventually, the brothers were reunited with their mum and returned to North Carolina.

Skeet Ulrich attended Northwest Cabarrus High School before proceeding to study Marine Biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He later joined New York University, where he caught the attention of Playwright David Mamet.

Skeet Ulrich has been married two times and his most recent marriage was to Amelia Jackson-Gray – an actress known for her role in Dragon, The Campaign, Heartland and Adulthood. When the two got married in 2012, that was Skeet’s second marriage. The couple only dated for a short while before tying the knot and sadly, their marriage didn’t last long either, it hit the rocks barely three years later in 2015.

His first attempt at matrimony was with Georgina Cates – an actress of English origin. The duo met at an Academy Awards party and began dating almost immediately. They got married in 1997 at a small wedding ceremony on their Madison County farmland in Virginia with only the preacher and their dogs in attendance. Before their divorce in 2005, Georgina gave birth to twins, a daughter – Naiia Rose and a son – Jakob Dylan. The twins were born on the 9th of March 2001.

In 2016, the entertainer was in a relationship with Rose Costa, a Brazilian model. They became officially engaged the same year but unfortunately, the engagement did not end in marriage. The couple decided to call it quits in November 2017.
