He was born on May 24, 1999, in Oslo, Norway to his parents. He was a student of the prestigious Hartvig Nissen School, Oslo. Tarjei started out his career while in high school. It happened that his breakthrough series was shot in his school; Hartvig Nissen. Moe who was very much inclined to act did not hesitate to grab the opportunity to take part in the auditions held in his school. He got selected to play gay teenager Isak Valtersen, and the rest was history.

Tarjei’s character was in a same-sex relationship with ‘Even’ played by Henrik Holm. He starred in all four seasons of the series which aired from 2015 to 2017. For serving the audience an unusual display of homosexuality, Tarjei Sandvik Moe was highly touted especially in the third season where he played the main character.
