Timothy Castagne (born 5 December 1995) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays right-back or left-back for Leicester City in the Premier League and for the Belgian national team. After graduating from Genk’s junior academy, Castagne began his senior career with the club until joining Leicester City in 2020. Castagne, who was born in Arlon, Belgian Luxembourg, began his football career with local clubs US Waltzing and Lorrain Arlon before joining Virton’s junior academy, the province’s main club. After attending a boarding school in the area, he continued to play matches at Virton on weekends with the Standard Liège young teams.

Castagne moved to Genk in 2011 after Standard opted not to hire him on a permanent basis. He signed a three-year professional contract with Genk in June 2013. After making a positive impression during training camp with the first team in January 2014, then-Genk coach Mario Been decided to include him in the first squad for the second half of the season. On 14 September 2014, he made his Belgian Pro League debut as a starter against Club Brugge under new head coach Alex McLeish. Castagne scored his first senior goal in a 7–1 home triumph on May 2, 2015.

After Andrea Conti left Atalanta for Milan in July 2017, he joined the Serie A club at Atalanta for €6 million. On January 2, 2018, he scored his first goal for the Bergamo team in a Coppa Italia victory over Napoli.

Castagne made 96 appearances for Atalanta in three years, scoring eight goals in all competitions. His departure was prompted by a tense relationship with Gian Piero Gasperini, his coach.

Castagne signed a 5-year contract with Premier League team Leicester City on September 3, 2020. He made his Premier League debut on September 13, 2020, scoring his first goal for Leicester City in a 3–0 win over West Bromwich Albion, becoming the fifth Belgian player to do so following Luc Nilis, Thomas Vermaelen, Christian Benteke, and Leandro Trossard.
