Timothy Omundson is an actor who has been in the business of entertaining and recreating reality from the late 1990s until as recent as 2017. He began his journey into the movie industry early from the Seattle Children’s Theater at the tender age of 12 where he studied theatre. He continued on this path through his high school education and later graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts.

He is popularly known for the roles he played in the series Xena: The Warrior Princess as Eli, Carlton Lassiter in Psych: The Movie and Sean Potter in Judging Amy.

Veteran actor, Timothy Omundson’s birth name is Timothy Micheal Omundson. He is a white American born in the populous state of St. Joseph Missouri. He was raised by a middle classed family with a father who is a former railroad man and a mother who was a teacher. He is the youngest of his parent’s four children.

Timothy grew up in Seattle, Washington where his parents relocated to when he was one. He is an actor who has a towering height of 6 feet 1 inch and an athletic build. Little is known about Timothy’s early life and experiences due to his discrete lifestyle.

Education and Career

After attending the Seattle Children Theater, he interned at various theatres during high school with acting as his primary focus. His interest in filmography pushed him to further study during the summer of his junior year in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York. At such an early stage, Timothy bagged the position of the Champion of Washington state Debate in Dramatic interpretation, two years in a row.

At the age of 13, he traveled to Germany and Australia with his father. Timothy described this period as the most formative time of his life. After junior high school, he attended the Bellevue Washington Interlake High School in 1987 in pursuit of his senior high school education. Shortly after, he was offered admission to the University of Southern California (USC), where he obtained his bachelor of Fine arts in Theater. At USC, Timothy won the Jack Nicholson Award and James and Nony Dolittle Award for outstanding achievements in acting. Before long, he got his first professional acting slot as a guest actor on Seinfeld in 1992 which earned him his first Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card.

After his debut in Seinfeld, Timothy appeared in several television series in the mid 1990s and early 2000s such as Judging Amy where he featured for six seasons and reoccurring and lead roles in Sea Quest DSV, The Luck of the Irish, Jack & Jill, Fired Up, Diagnosis: Murder, Married with Children, among numerous others. Omundson also featured in television shows such as The George Carlin Show, 24, CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and so on.

Timothy who was involved in voice training during the course of his acting career, utilized this training when he voiced characters in video games such as Nathan Zachary in Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge (2003), various roles in Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic II-The Sith Lords (2004) and the role of Aris Jorgan in Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011).

There are several films to Timothy Omundson’s credit. A few are Down with Love, Swordfish, Starship Troopers, Hard Pills, 25 Hill among others. In 1996, he was introduced to the big screen when he appeared in Dead of the Night as a club manager. However, the role that shot him into fame and limelight was the 2000 series “Judging Amy” where he starred as Sean Potter. Another notable film of his was Psyche: The Movie and Xena: The Warrior Princess where he played Eli.
