Tinglan Hong is a Chinese lady born and raised in Lishui, Zhejiang Province, China. Her mother is a local businesswoman and her dad is also an entrepreneur. While still at school, Hong, as described by her friends on a Chinese based website, was a rebellious student who loves fun a great deal.

Hong lived in China until 2003 when she decided to leave her motherland and move to the UK. She arrived in London and started working as a receptionist at a Chinese restaurant.
