He is not only recognized for his work ethic and dedication to work, but also for his regularity and frequency in using swear words.
Here are all you need to know about him, from his bio to his family, net worth and house. Read on…
Tony Beets Bio – Age
Tony was born to English parents in the Netherlands in a place called Wijdenes on December 15, 1959. He is of the Dutch ethnicity and Dutch-Canadian nationality. At the age of 7, he moved with his parents to the country and settled in Burgwerd. With a change of neighbourhood, he met and became friends with one Monica, who was 6 at that time and would later become his wife.
His family had a large farm and a lot of people who work in it. The management of the family farm, however, fell on him at the age of 15 when his father who used to run the business encountered a debilitating event. He found out that even though his father was not around, he had the authority to act in his stead and that he did. Tony found himself, with the assumption of his new role, in charge of men who were far older than he was and he became their boss.
At that point, he made the decision to either become equal or better than the people who worked for him. And with this determination, he went ahead to achieve that and many more. He said that wherever he went, he always kept one step ahead of the rest or better still, became a foreman within a week.
Tony moved to Canada in the ’80s and on getting to Canada, he started out on a dairy farm near Salmon Arm, B.C. But, he wasn’t going to be there for a long time. Being adventurous and always looking for opportunities to utilize, the next couple of months saw him going after a new venture, gold mining.
It didn’t just happen though. According to him, he heard through the grapevines that people in the Yukon were making $1000 (which is equivalent to over $3,000 today) a week in the mines. Then the lights came on, he figured he was going to make as much as that and dived headlong into it. He moved to Whitehorse where he started mining in the Dawson City. Today, he owns the mining company called Tamarack Mines and Paradise Hill. He has a lot of employees mainly the locals.

Remember that little girl who was Tony’s neighbour, Minnie, he started dating her when she turned 20. They got married four years later after which they migrated to Canada following his scepticisms about the future of farming in the Netherlands. Minnie worked in home health care and is now the bookkeeper at the Paradise Hill, she takes care of the purse as well.

Monica seems to be more interested in the family business and has learned basic mining skills from her father. She was born on November 7, 1993, and raised in Yukon, Canada. Her childhood may have been unusual when compared with that of other children, but she loved every moment of it.
Mining activities which include driving heavy-duty vehicles, figuring out the workings of equipment, and getting into the main mining business only braced her for the future ahead of her. She has become an important member of the Gold Rush mining team and constantly strives to learn something new and challenge herself.
Monica is not afraid to get dirty and has taken after her father so well. By the age of 18, she was already a supervisor at Paradise Hill and she enjoys working on the equipment.
