Following an impressive performance as a junior at Martin Luther King High School, Tony Snell proceeded to Westwind Preparatory Academy to finish his senior year. While his stints in both schools lasted, he carved a niche for himself on the court and also won many hearts with his unique athletic abilities.

Though the shooting guard launched his professional career in 2013, it’s been as if he has been playing for decades. Tony Snell’s Biography

The Milwaukee Bucks No. 21 jersey player is the son of Sherika Brown, a young American woman who gave birth to him on the 10th day of November 1991, in Watts, California. According to records, Sherika had the basketball player when she was barely nineteen, after which his little sister Tonyecia arrived.

As a single mother, Tony’s mom took up several odd jobs to make ends meet. She is said to have worked in places like JCPenney, Walmart, and even got a job as a security guard, and data entry operator just to raise money to support her kids and put food on the table.

Upon the completion of his elementary education, Snell was enrolled at Martin Luther King High School. His stint at the school lasted from 2008 to 2009, after which his mother sent him to Westwind Preparatory Academy in Phoenix to complete his studies.

While he was at Martin Luther King High, he led his school’s basketball team to a 30-3 season along with his teammate , who currently plays with the Toronto Raptors. Under the guidance of coach Tim Sweeney and with the help of his teammates, Tony averaged seven rebounds, fourteen points, three assists per game, as well as four blocks. At Westwind, he continued to grow his game and went on to set several records for himself. It is recorded that he averaged 8.8 assists, 1.8 blocks, 10 rebounds, 19.5 points, and 2.7 steals, and 1.8 blocks. Interestingly, it was at Westwind that he crossed path with Sichuan Blue Whales shooting guard Jamaal Franklin.

Tony Snell began his college career in the year 2010 at the University of New Mexico – this was after he committed and signed to play for the team in November 2009. As a freshman, he represented the New Mexico Lobos men’s basketball team in all but one game. After completing his junior year, Snell announced his intention to forfeit his senior year to enter the 2013 NBA Draft. He was subsequently selected with the 20th pick in the first round at the 2013 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.

The shooting guard’s session with the Bulls survived for three years (2013 – 2016), after which he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for on October 17, 2016.

The Watts-born athlete would make his debut for the Bucks on October 29, 2016, which was the day the team played its second game of the season. He renewed his contract with the franchise with a four-year extension. The deal, signed on July 31, 2017, is reportedly worth $44 million and includes incentives that would increase his total income to $46 million as well as a player option after the third year.

Presently, the Bucks basketball player is not in an open relationship neither has he been linked to any girl in the past or of recent. His first love remains his mother and then the sport, basketball.
