Tania Torres

She is Tia Torres’ oldest daughter and first biological kid. Tania has had a troubled childhood, having to deal with the deaths of her half brother, godmother, and father. All these tragedies caused Tania to grow thick skin and a guarded personality. That notwithstanding, she still maintains her dry sense of humor.

Thanks to the change in the family fortune and the Animal Planet show, her lifestyle has become better. Tania also grew up sharing a similar passion for animals, just like her mother. As a child, she cared for wolf hybrids her mother rescued and in her teenage years, she began to travel the world as an assistant animal trainer for the film industry. Her work has her seen her visit different parts of the world from the Mongolian desert with a pack of wolves to the jungles of Costa Rica, among others.

While the Villalobos Rescue Center has continued to grow, Tania and her siblings have become an integral part of the largest pit bull facility in the country. Asides being one of the main cast of the Animal Planet series – Pit Bulls & Parolees, Tania sometimes helps her mother in rescuing dogs. She also has a steel gray pitbull called Bluie.

Mariah Torres

Mariah is the youngest daughter among Tia Torres’ kids. She is an ardent animal lover, public speaker, and beauty enthusiast. Born into the world of Pit Bulls, Mariah got her first pit bull when she was old enough to hold a leash. When she was eight, she spoke in front of the Los Angeles City Commission about spay/neuter laws. Since then, she has gone on to become an animal rights advocate and frequently speaks at high school and other community events.

She has been appearing on the show since its inception in 2009. Asides helping in the family’s business, Mariah also has interests in fashion design as well as studying criminal psychology. She has successfully competed in various beauty pageants and she owns a rescue dog named Tank.

Twin Sons – Kanani and Keli’i

Famously known as the Hawaiian twins, the pair are also Tia Torres’ kids. The twins reportedly had a rough childhood and while in school, they became friends with Tia’s younger daughter Mariah. When they faced many difficulties in their home, they would spend more time at the ranch, working on weekends and helping out with various projects.

Later, Tia Torres adopted Kanani and Keli’i and they became the newest members of the Villalobos Rescue Center family. They have distinguished themselves, not just for their natural ability to work with the most difficult dogs but their ability to provide comic relief around the ranch makes them invaluable.

The twins own a pit bull which they named Monster and he travels with them everywhere. Besides being animal lovers, the twins also play musical instruments and they love drawing and painting. More so, during the offseason, they indulge in all manner of sporting activities including snowboarding, street biking, and stunts performance.

Wondering if Tia Torres has grandchildren? Well, the answer is yes. Amongst Tia Torres’ kids, only her first daughter Tania has got married. She is happily married to a man named Perry Sanchez. The couple began their relationship a few years ago and in 2016, they exchanged marital vows in a beautifully unique wedding. Soon after their wedding, Tania and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Salem-Wolf in 2017.

Tania and her husband, Perry Sanchez are still happily married. Their family currently lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. However, they previously lived in Santa Clarita and Pacoima, both in California.
